Few comic book characters have been able to retain their popular for as long after their initial creation as the well know Spider-man and the ever present Iron Man. Fans of both characters (such as myself) will not want to pass up this chance to see both of their superheros in action together, thanks to Marvel Comics great series Marvel Team-up. The monthly series featured everyone's favorite web- slinger pairing up with another Marvel super-hero in a complete story for each issue.
In this auction I have four first run issues of the original series which features Spidey with Iron Man. Starting off, we have issue #49 - Madness is all in the Mind! (Sept. 1976), in FN/VF condition; shows some age and yellowing on the pages and covers. There is no tearing that I have seen - only one fold in the bottom right corner of the front cover and some creasing caused by print production on the back cover. Bindings are nice and tight. Next we have Issue #72 - Crack of the Whip! (Aug. 1978) in VF/NM condition, showing only slight aging and yellowing. Issue #110 - Magma Force! (Oct. 1981) is also in VF/NM condition similar to the previous issue. Finally, we have Issue #145 - Hometown Boy (Sept. 1984) which features Spidey in his black costume in NM condition.
Issue #49 was written by Bill Mantlo with Sal Buscema, Mike Eposito, John Costanza, and Phil Rachelson on artwork. Bill returned to write #72 with Jim Mooney, Irv Watanabe, and Francoise Mouly contributing the pics. The plot for issue #110 came from Herb Trimpe with David Michelinie, Mike Esposito, Diana Albers, and Bob Sharen supplying the visuals. Issue #145 came from the mind of Tony Isabella, with the previous art crew bringing it all to life (except Dave who was replaced by Greg LaRocque). The 2000 Overstreet price guide values are: #49 - $4.00, #72 - $3.00, and $2.00 each for the other two.

I estimate all shipping rates on the USPS web site to save time, and try to keep the cost within $1 of actual cost. I do not charge handling fees or surcharges for fees I am charged on auction or on-line payment sites.
Accepted forms of payment will be check (certified or personal), money order, BidPay, or Pay Pal. Payments must be in US funds only. I must wait at least 10 days for checks to clear before shipping items. All sales are final, no refunds unless I deem appropriate.
