Brass Owl with Glass Eyes

~ AOE Greek Owl of Athens (Athena"s Owl)~

     This owl is engraved AOE on the base.  This solid little bird stands 2¼" tall and has blue glass eyes. 

One of the most common symbols of all Greece was the little owl of Athens. At one time, this symbol was known and respected throught the ancient World. This little owl statue has the mark AOE which represent the letters of Athens. Very Nice condition, unfortunately, My photo doesn"t do it justice.
