RESTAURANT WARE by SYRACUSE CHINA COMPANY -- Two Plates Spectacular Pink Sunrise Pattern. Pink Sunrise is what the plates look like to me. What is the real name of this pattern? Please email me DIRECTLY at maria@xmission.com.The plates are a dark pink shading to white and they measure about 7-1/4" in diameter. The photos show a darker orange color; they are a dark pink. See the photo of the backstamp which says "2-MM, SYRACUSE CHINA, U.S.A."; this backstamp is on one plate. The second plate has a faint, mostly obscured backstamp; with magnification I make out a figure of an Indian and "Shen ..". Maybe this is Shenango? The plates are in good condition with quite a lot of surface wear marks. The plates are not as heavy as some restaurant ware I have seen.
