Set of Six Cups and Saucers with Lovely Raised Border by Mt. Clemens Pottery Company. I date them to the 1940"s or 1950"s. What do you think? What is the name of this pattern? Please help me by emailing me DIRECTLY at maria@xmission.com. This set is pristine white and in excellent condition. The cups measure 3-3/4" top diameter and 2-5/8" tall. Two of the cups are marked with the raised rectangular and "MCP, USA". All the other pieces are unmarked. The pieces appear to have not been used; I could not find surface wear marks. Two of the cups and two or three of the saucers have light crazing. One saucer has four teeny rim chips on the underside. One cup has a teeny chip on the bottom resting ridge. This is a lovely set; the cups and saucers are bright and shiny and have been packed away for a long time. Additional pieces in this pattern are available including dinner plates and berry bowls.
