The bowl measures 7-5/8" outside diameter; the inside diameter is 5-3/4" and about 1-1/2" deep. The bottom diameter is 3-1/4". The decorative edge is 7/8" wide to the outside of the scallops.

The bowl looks to hand hammered; the decorative scalloped edge was hammered into a form and is uniform. The bowl has had a patina applied as there is almost no oxidation. The bowl is a rich dark copper color. The third photo shows the backside of the bowl and the flash caused the photo to be too bright.

I can date the bowl as 60-70 years old as it has been in my family that long. The bowl is not marked.
