Antique wooden trinket or maybe handkerchief box with Beautiful Lady worked into the wood. She looks like a Gibson Girl to me.The box has a beautiful silk inside in excellent condition. The silk fabric is an interesting muted blue. The silk is shirred and was hand sewn. The box measures about 6-1/4" square and almost 2" high when the lid is closed. The box has delicate brass hinges. All sides of the box have design worked in the wood. The box is in very good condition with some light surface scratches on the outside lid near the bottom. A charming and unique box!
