This vintage 3" tall water globe with a black base, blue backing and a clear top is German made. When shaken, the "sand" is a fine silvery glitter. Alladin, holding his lamp, swings back and forth on his carpet against a Arabian backdrop. The water level is down but their is a plastic stopper which allows the addition of more. The bottom is marked "made in Germany" and has a warning in German, which basically states that the globe"s water is unfit for drinking.
