1930"s  Blue Lace Collar

Vintage ~ handmade?

       This is a vintage Blue Lace Collar that belonged to my mother in the mid 1930s.  It appears to be handmade and measures 16" around the neck edge.  I found it stored in a box when we cleaned out her home.  I remember her telling us stories of how a different lace collar would change the appearance of a plain dress.  The pleated front measures about 6" from the tiny button to the hem and has a button and loop closure.  The lace is in excellent condition.
