The picture and sound quality are FIRST-RATE, since the maximum bitrate went into the ANAMORPHIC picture and not toward the black bars above and below the frame. Each frame is properly flagged to allow your DVD player to insert its own black bars into your 4x3 analog TV set, so the maximum bitrate on the disc went into the PICTURE and not wasted toward the black bars! The sound is THX-Certified Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround Sound, which sounds TERRIFIC, plus I"ve included the commentary track in Dolby Digital 2.0, as well. I am offering two features on my DVD set that no other seller on ePier can offer. Namely:

1. A pure ANAMORPHIC picture that is enhanced for 16x9 TVs. You can check that it is truly anamorphic by testing it with PowerDVD or any good DVD player PC application.

2. The filmmakers" commentary track.

These DVDs play on most DVD players and are compatible with any computer (Mac or PC) equipped with a DVD-ROM drive.
