We"ve added 11 more coins below to the original 14, for a total of 25 different RED BU error/variety coins in this lot. The 1972-D Doubled-Die (DDO) coins are nice RED BU original pennies. All are DDO"s with Doubling showing on IGWT, LIBERTY, and "2" of date, and the second hubbing spread slightly CW. Scan provided to give idea of general condition of these cents, but it doesn"t really do justice to error/variety elements. Coins are listed as MD#5-O-I+II and will grade at least MS-60, but most will grade MS-64 to MS-66 or better. There are a whole host of Error/Varieties/RPM"s/Combo"s, etc. that are included in this lot.

Included will be regular and RPM versions of the basic coin, Reverse Die Chip #"s 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5, Sharp Obverse Die Clash, High Relief Obverse Die Clash, Chatter Clash, and both versions of Breen #2268 No VDB, including regular and RPM in addition to each coin being a DDO as previously described. Also included is a 72-S Obverse Die-Flaw (not yet listed separately) of the upper "R" of Liberty. If you were to purchase each of the 72-D and the 72-S coins individually, you would have to spend well in excess of $100.00 and there is no guarantee you would find them all or win all the lots.

Also included is the Ultra-High-Relief Obverse Die Clash which is very scarce and would sell for perhaps $30+ by itself, but is included in this complete collection lot. For those who have requested this type of lot in the past, Thank You for your patience -- here it is! This would also make an excellent gift for the contemporary coin collector or the Young Numismatist on your list. We have sold out of the mixed rolls of these beautiful coins. Also thought I would sweeten up this lot with some other mouth-watering gems.

Let"s include a BU pair of the 58/7-P and 58/7-D Breen #"s 2223 & 2225 Repunched Overdate Wheat Cents; a nice BU 70-S Strike Doubled Cent; BU set of three 68-S Types I/II, II, and II/I Strike Doubled Cents (some of these may also be 68/7-S); BU 97-P Phantom "D" Cent, BU 58/7-D/D Multiple Error combo Wheat Cent and finally a BU spotted 59-P DDO #4-O-II FS#1c-022.3. Oh, yeah, let"s not forget our two BU "mystery" WHEAT cent errors, all of which will fit very nicely into any error/variety coin collection. I"d estimate the total value of this lot now to be at least $200. All 25 coins clearly marked in 2X2 holders. We originally sold out of these sets, but due to demand and popularity, and a bit of luck, have been able to assemble several more of these fine NO RESERVE rare sets. Only a few sets left, as many went out over the holidays and for birthday gifts, etc. -- Let"s sell"em to the high bidder!!!

Note that between this set and the 26 Different Error/Variety set that we offer separately, countless hours have been spent over a 30+ year period of time, locating, purchasing, and meticulously searching 350,000+ cents (that"s 70+ Mint counted 5000 coin bags -- each coin viewed under magnification) in order to be able to assemble these fine Brilliant Uncirculated sets for your collecting pleasure. An additional 3-4 hours per set is required to store, assemble, label, holder, photograph, list and process the coins.
