This great looking photo was in the March 1918 issue of National Geographic magazine. It pictures doughboys of the 1st Virginia Field Artillery in training with a 3 inch gun camouflaged with straw and sage grass at Chickamauga.
Page measures 10 x 6.9 inches, condition is very good with normal wear and light toning, the staple holes by the edge and all of our paper items are shipped with cardboard backing and are wrapped in plastic for protection.
