VINTAGE NORITAKE Made for the United States Market: Set of EIGHT impressive dinner plates marked "U.S. Design", CHAUMONT PATTERN in near MINT condition.

I date these pieces to the late 1940"s - early 1950"s. What do you think? The lovely dinner plates are white with a graceful design in soft blues, grays, and tan with Platinum trim. They measure about 10-5/8" in diameter.

Please see the photo of the backstamp which says: "NORITAKE CHINA, Japan, 6008, CHAUMONT, U.S. Design Pat, 187151".

This set has been stored away for a long time and has seen little or no use. The pieces are close to Mint.
