An UNUSUAL example of a pair of POT METAL RHINESTONE SCARF CLIPS worn in the 1940's and 50's. The pictures truly do not do them justice as I only have my camera phone.

Up for auction is this lovely pair of pot metal silver rhinestone scarf clips, both in excellent condition, considering their age. Each clip is a swirl design with the center of each swirl encrusted with sparkling clear rhinestones. Clips on the back are original. One scarf clip is very slightly smaller than its mate. Each measures approximately 2 1/4 inches by approximately 1 1/2 inches. There is a makers mark on the inside of one of the clips, possibly "IVO".

Vintage scarf clips can also be used as hair ornaments!

All of my vintage jewelry has been gently cleaned and all rhinestones checked and/or replaced, paint touched up, if needed, to restore it as closely as possible to its original beauty.

Definitely a wonderful gift for that special someone who loves vintage jewelry or an awesome accessory for that special party dress.
