An unusual and unique example of a PARROT OR COCKATIEL RHINESTONE HAIR OR DRESS CLIP worn in the 1940's and 50's. The pictures truly do not do it justice as I only have my camera phone.

BIRD HAIR OR DRESS CLIP features a very detailed and intricate design of either a parrot or cockatiel painted white with sky blue accents sitting on flowered branch, all accented with pink and blue rhinestones. Measures 2 1/2 inches by 1 inch at the widest point, set in a silver tone setting. This piece has been reconditioned to restore it to its original beauty. There is not a makers mark that I could find.

Definitely a wonderful gift for that special someone who loves vintage jewelry or an awesome accessory for that special party dress.

All of my vintage jewelry has been gently cleaned and all rhinestones checked and/or replaced, paint touched up, if needed, to restore it as closely as possible to its original beauty.

Please keep in mind that although I do my absolute best to describe my items thoroughly, normal wear and tear should be expected with any vintage or antique item. Anything significant will be noted but since I am only human, minor details may be left out inadvertantly!
