RFK CENTER: Kennedy fought for Civil Rights as Attorney General his positive vision for the advancement of peace, justice, equality and responsibility is still relevant today. This image is part of a portfolio of images selected by the RFK Center with the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority in a promotion celebrating the renaming of their Triborough Bridge to the RFK Bridge.
PHOTOGRAPHER'S STATEMENT: The type of camera I used for all of the Kennedy photographs was a Nikon F Series with Nikkor Lenses. The photograph was taken with an 300mm Nikkor, a personal favorite for available light documentary and portrait photography. Exposures were made on Kodak Tri-X B&W film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage.
