"CROWD GATHERING" Kinetic image faithfully depicts the enthusiasm of the crowd for their candidate, a splendid example of Kennedy's charisma. It was photographed during a political rally held in Eugene, Oregon. One of several campaign stops made during the May 1968 Oregon Primary.
PHOTOGRAPHER'S STATEMENT: The camera I used for all of the Kennedy photographs was an original Motorized Nikon F with Nikkor Lenses. The photograph was taken with a 55mm Micro Nikkor, a personal favorite for crowd photography. Exposures were made on Kodak Tri-X B&W film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage.
