"COAST STROLL" Wonderful Civil Rights Era pictorial photograph of Robert and Ethel Kennedy dating from the May 1968 Oregon Primary Presidential Campaign. The view depicts the couple strolling along the North Oregon Coastline near Astoria. This image captures a brightly lit and optimistic photo of the couple as Kennedy prepared for his famous "Beach Run" as a cover shot for Life magazine. Ethel was to join Kennedy afterword to continue their stroll several photographs from that walk are included in our portfolio and are available as a complete set.

PHOTOGRAPHER""S STATEMENT: The camera I used for all of the Kennedy photographs was an original Motorized Nikon F with Nikkor Lenses. The photograph was taken on the Oregon Coast with a 28mm Nikkor lens, a personal favorite for documentary and pictorial photography. The original full frame of the Ektachrome has been preserved in this restoration faithfully capturing the vibrancy and color of the original.
