"BOBBY" RFK dtrolling with Freckles was captured on the Northern Oregon Coast. This image dates from the May 1968 Oregon Primary Presidential Campaign. Exposures were made on Kodak Ektachrome film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage. This popular print faithfully captures the original vibrancy and color of the original chrome.

Kennedy fought for Civil Rights as Attorney General his positive vision for the advancement of peace, justice, equality and responsibility is still relevant today. This image is part of a portfolio of images selected by the RFK Center and the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority in a promotion celebrating the renaming of their Triborough Bridge to the RFK Bridge.

PHOTOGRAPHER'S STATEMENT: The camera I used for all of the Kennedy photographs was an original Motorized Nikon F with Nikkor Lenses. The photograph was taken on the Oregon Coast with a 85mm Nikkor lens, a personal favorite for documentary pictorial photography. I was positioned for an intimate yet unobtrusive look at this poignant moment. The short tele perspective captures Robert with his beloved dog, Freckles shown leading ahead as they make their way north along the coastline.
