"WITH FRECKLES" RFK and Freckles famous "Beach Walk" was captured on the Northern Oregon Coast. This image dates from the May 1968 Oregon Primary Presidential Campaign. Exposures were made on Kodak Ektachrome film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage.

PHOTOGRAPHER'S STATEMENT: The camera I used for all of the Kennedy photographs was an original Motorized Nikon F with Nikkor Lenses. The photograph was taken on the Oregon Coast with an 85mm Nikkor lens, a personal favorite for documentary photography. The telephoto perspective captures Robert with his beloved dog, Freckles in a beautiful pictorial rendering set against an atmospheric foreshortened perspective.
