What struck me immediately about this late afternoon summer street scene was the incredible range of diffused but brilliant light. Transformed into black and white the print reveals an altered reality of what is an otherwise common everyday scene. The subject brightness range has been expanded through bracketing exposures to bring sky, clouds, buildings and street into a dazzling coherency! The location was quite near the HMV Music Store on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver. Hope you enjoy it!
