YOU ARE LISTENING TO MY OWN MUSIC COMPOSITION MADE FOR THE "MOON RISING" PHOTOGRAPH

"MOON RISING" looks towards the Fort Rock Monument at dusk, captured on August 7, 1998. Located in Central Oregon to the East of the Oregon Cascades (near Christmas Valley) the monument has both a fascinating geologic history and is filled with Pacific Northwest Indian and Pioneer Lore. The moonrise rose just after the sunset, providing a lush impressionistic color palette that reflects the austere beauty found in this rarefied atmosphere.
