Vintage 1960s figural novelty salt and pepper shakers shaped like mini mason jars in their original 3" wide box. They even have gaskets like real mason jars. Mason jar salt and pepper shakers are super collectible and this version is extremely uncommon. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen them anywhere before. They all have a visible glue line around the base. This is not a defect. This is the way they were made. Novelty salt and pepper shakers are very popular with collectors. Ones like this in the original box are very difficult for them to find and command a premium price. I found these in the in the basement of an old novelty distributorship in the Columbus, Ohio area. The boxes had never been opened and they are in amazing condition!
