Description

VINTAGE COTTON DAMASK HAND TOWEL WITH HEAVY "S" MONOGRAM.
The floral design woven in the fabric extending across the ends and along both sides of the cloth I describe as "damask". Is that the correct term? The rest of the towel looks like the birdseye pattern.
The "S" looks like it has been sewn on. This is a beautiful PRISTINE cloth in perfect condition and the cotton has a lovely sheen. This sheen makes me wonder if the towel is linen. It measures about 17" wide and about 32" long. This towel has had little or no use.
