Description

Antique edition of "A TALE OF TWO CITIES" by Charles Dickens. What is the meaning of the stamps on the inside front cover "Approved, General Inspector of Books"?
Edited with Biographical and Literary Notes by James Weber Linn. Published by Ginn & Company.
The book measures 7-3/8" by 5" with 455 pages, which includes several pages of Notes at the end.
The interior pages are in great condition although it has the extraneous pencil drawings on the blank pages front and back and the pencil lettering on the page ends, all of these are shown in the photos. The cloth cover shows considerable wear; the binding is good and secure.
