Antique 1914 edition of "TARZAN of the APES" by Edgar Rice Burroughs.Isn"t this the first Tarzan book? This looks like the first or close to first printing of this book. "Copyright A. C. McCLURG & CO. 1914, Published June 1914, Copyrighted in Great Britain". The book measures about 7-5/8" by 5-1/8" with 399 pages. As the photos show, the cover, front and back, has moisture discoloration and considerable wear and soil to the cloth cover. The cover spine has separated about two-thirds the way up from the bottom and the mesh is visible and intact on the top one-third of the inside front cover. The back inside cover has the O.W.
