Melanie has a sticker on the bottom of a shoe that says Gorham, Made in Japan. She is marked "GORHAM" with a large "G" on the back of her neck. She stands about 22" tall. She has a beautiful antique style face that I think is a BRU face. She has large brown paperweight glass eyes. Her clothes are beautifully made of cream and taupe satin which have gorgeous lace and intricate details. Her costume is in an old-fashioned style. She wears a necklace and a bracelet with a "G". Please note the large key that is inserted in her back to activiate the music box.

Melanie has lived in her box in a smoke free home all these years. She is MINT.
