JACKIE KENNEDY Doll dressed in a beautiful copy of Jackie"s Inaugural Ball Gown. She was made in the 1970"s.The white gown and matching cape out is made of delustered satin with an intricately embroidered underblouse. The embroidery is amazing done in tiny stitches by hand with silver thread and tiny rhinestone brilliants. This embroidered bodice is covered by an organza overblouse. Her outfit is completed with white kid gloves. She stands about 19" tall with a porcelain head, arms and lower legs. Her feet have white shoes painted on. Jackie has lived in a cabinet all these years and is in very good condition. Please see the photos of her backplate which shows a crack in the porcelain on both sides. This occurred during the manufacture process. She was created by a local doll artist with incredibly fine sewing skills. One of her rhinestone earrings needs to be reglued in place.
