"YANK" The Army Weekly, British Edition, Aug. 13, 1944. "Yank Tanks Storming St. Lo" in Normandy, France. Also Bombing German Lines. The magazine measures about 13-1/2" by 10" with 23 pages. The cover story is about taking of German occupied towns and the push south from the beaches. A second article is "Rangers Come Home" and "Bring Stories of their Tough Campaigns in Africa and Europe". There is a full page photo of a beautiful pin-up. There is a SAD SACK cartoon strip and the back cover is all cartoons. This magazine is in good condition with signs of moisture damage and some scrunching to the lower edge and lower right corner with wear to the cover edges. Two more edition of "YANK" are available.
