Antique "GAMES YOU LIKE TO PLAY for Home, Travel and Camp" by PARKER BROTHERS. I date this game set to the 1930"s, maybe as early the 1920"s. What do you think? Note the automobile and the young girl"s clothing. There is a sailboat inside a circle near the boy"s leg that says "Made in Salem, MASS. USA". The box measures about 12-7/8" by 11". This set has had a lot of use and the lid shows considerable wear; the lid slide flaps are partially intact with one side completely missing. It is amazing to me that the Instructions booklet is present. The cards with neat figures of people such as "My Pearl", AAlice Bent Bolt" and "Sweet Marie" have set a lot of use and are wrinkled and worn. They are neat nonetheless. All in all, it is surprising how complete a set it is with markers, two small felt pieces and wooden checker pieces.
