This is a hefty volume bound in soft tan leather with beautiful colored front and end paper on the inside front and back cover.Subtitled "A Dictionary of Arts, Sciences and Literature". Belford-Clarke Co., Publishers, Chicago. Copyright 1890. The book measures about 9-1/2" by 7" and is numbered from page 639 to page 1,282. The lovely coloration of the end papers continues with colored design on the top and bottom page ends. The book is in good condition with some wear to the cover. There is discoloration from age on the first few pages in the front and the last few pages in the back. The first page of the text is stuck near the top of the page so that the page does not open fully. Three more volumes are available.
