The book has a lovely cover with leather spine and other leather trim. "With maps and wood engravings". Published by W. and R. Chambers, 47 Paternoster Row and High Street, Edinburg. The book is heavy and measures about 10" by 7-1/4" with 828 pages. The book has gorgeous end papers with the same design on the page ends.
The book is in good condition with wear to the cover with some wrinkling on the first few pages.
