Wells, Rudyard Kipling, Charles Dickens, Robert Louis Stevenson, Washington Irving, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Sir Wlalter Scott and other authors. Published by P. F. Collier & Son, New York. The book has a neat red cloth cover and measures about 8-1/4" by 5-3/4" with 428 pages. The frontispiece is the author, Theopile Gautier whose story, "La Morte Amoreuse" is the first story in the book. The book is in good condition with wear to the cover. The inside front cover has three "nines" written in pencil and has soiling. Several of the pages have stain splotches. The front cover is a little loose and the spine netting shows a small amount on the inside front cover.
