Board of Education, South Kensington, Victoria and Albert Museum. "CHINESE ART" by Stephen W. Bushell. Volume II. Dated 1909.Note the large "E R" (Elizabeth Regina) on the title page. "Printed for His Majesty"s Stationery Office, By Eyre and Spottiswoode, Limited." London. The book has a neat dark green cloth cover and measures about 7-3/4" by 5-1/2" with 147 pages. The book is quite thick, so the pages are heavy. The title page says there are "135 illustrations and 113 marks and seals". The book has information on Chinese Pottery, Porcelain, Jewelry, Textiles, Pictorial Art. The cover has wear, particularly to the top spine area. The front cover is completely unglued from the spine so the front cover just flops down. There is some soiling on the inside front cover and several pages at the front of the book are dogeared on the top corner. Please pardon the photo of the Chinese Cooking cover, which obviously is an error.
