The book has a red cloth cover and measures about 7" by 5-1/8" with 300 pages. The book is in good condition with wear and soiling to the cover. The binding is somewhat loose with some wiggling. One of the illustration pages has completely separated from the binding has considerable to the edges of the loose page. Interior pages are in good condition with some signs of wear including a few spots here and there.

The author, Laura Richards, wrote several "Hildegard" books.
