Antique Lace: One piece measuring about 3-3/4" wide at the widest point and almost six yards long. I date this lace to the 1910"s. What do you think? The lace is a white color open sections and Floral Medallions. There are 208 inches, which is 8 inches less than six yards. I gave this lace a light bath and ironed it wet so I could accurately evaluate its condition. It is in excellent condition. It reminds me of hairpin lace; it is made of a fairly heavy thread. What is the correct name for this type of lace? Please email me at msdoll99@msn.com. I could not find any breaks in the lace. There are small brown spots on the bottom third of one flower medallion. The lace feels strong and sturdy. Please check out my other auctions; I have lots of vintage linens. For more information, please email me Directly at msdoll99@msn.com.
