ANNA Doll by Artist MARY LAKE-THOMPSON for Dollcrafters Classics. I date her to the 1980"s. Anna has a porcelain head, arms, legs and feet and a cloth body. Her head and limbs could be pottery, but her head looks like porcelain to me. DON"T YOU LOVE THE BUNNY RABBIT PEAKING OUT OF HER POCKET! Anna is a whopping 27" tall. She has fine yarn hair with a braid that is wrapped around her head. Anna wears wonderful clothes; her striped pinafore fits over an interesting color of gold dress. The pinafore and dress snap up the back. Her white collar is separate and her gold belt ties in the back. She wears long white pantelets covering her long legs with striped porcelain lower legs and black felt shoes. Anna"s wrist tag says that many of Mary Lake-Thompson"s dolls are inspired by her daughters. The back of her wrist tag says "ANNA is very serious about being sixteen and patiently watches over her younger sisters". Anna is in excellent condition; she is close to MINT condition. Her dress is a little wrinkled.
