Pair of VINTAGE PLATES with Turquoise Blue STAR FLOWERS by FRENCH SAXON China Co. encased in decorative white plastic with crocheted edging to hang on your wall. These dinner plates are pristine white with gold rim trims; they measure 9" in diameter. The decorative plastic with its turquoise crocheted edging extends another 1/2". Please see the third photo which shows the backstamp peaking through the white plastic. The backstamp says "FRENCH SAXON CHINA" inside a shield with a helmut on top. Below that it says "USA - 2, Star Flower 2885-S-56, 22 KT Gold. It is a little difficult to examine the surface of the plate through the plastic, but they appear to be in MINT condition. The white plastic covering has protected the project from surface wear marks or other wear. As the photos show, the plastic covering bulges somewhat. This plates can be hung on the wall; there is a crocheted loop on the back or the plastic covering can be removed.
