Vintage Small SOUVENIR Cup with CURRIER & IVES SCENE and on the other side "N. Carolina". Is this small cup a demitasse cup? It measures 2-1/4" tall and 3" top diameter. The Currier & Ives scene is neat, especially on such a small cup. There is a man driving his horse hitched to a wagon.The cup has no mark, but it was made by one of the American pottery companies such as Homer Laughlin or Hall China in the 1940"s or 1950"s. The cup is in excellent condition. The base of the cup has a roughness and what looks like a chip, but under magnification glaze is clearly visible on the "chip", so it occurred during manufacture as did the roughness.
