About Four and a Half Yards of Fancy Pleated, Gathered and Ruffled Lace in Black. The lace has two layers sewn together. It measures about 3-1/2" wide at its widest point.I date the lace to the late 1970"s, early 1980"s. It appears to be cotton and it is quite stiff. The lace is not shiny as the photos show. I had to use my flash to show the detail which made it appear shiny. The lace is in excellent condition and has been stored all these years in a smoke free home.
