Description

"Woman"s Home Companion". December 1930. The cover of a beautiful madonna is in the Art Deco style. It is by William P. Welsh. This lovely madonna and child is worthy of framing.
This is a large magazine that measures about 13-3/4" by 10-7/8" with 138 pages. It is packed with fiction such as a romance and mystery story of Sophie Kerr and illustrated by Harry L. Timmins. The famous "Billy" Brigadier General William Mitchell has an article called "Anecdotes of the Air". (see photos of airplanes.) The ads have beautiful illustrations and are very interesting.
The magazine is in good condition with wear and light soiling to the cover.
