Myself, I polish and clean all jewelry using a Speed Brite Ionic Jewelry Cleaner with gem sparkle solution for the gold jewelry. It works for silver too, but not as well. For the sterling, you can use same machine, just get the sterling cleaning solution as well for best results. Just remember to rinse machine in between the different solutions.
