Up for sale is a very scarce Post War Lionel 45 Marine Locomotive O / O27Gauge with all 4 original white plastic missiles and has a little blue soldier figure riding on it. It comes in it""s plain brown cardboard box and the Marine unit is a military green color with white print on it that says 45 US Marines , etc, on it""s sides and I believe its from the 50s or 60s. If you collect items from the Military 1950s –60s Air , Land , Sea , Atomic and Space Series of sets , engines and cars this will be useful to you. This is one of the more interesting items produced from the post war era and these military and space locomotive items do not turn up often so this is a good opportunity to pick up a scarce train item for your collection. This has the front and back bumpers and the little red light bulb on top which are usually gone and is a little dusty and could be cleaned or displayed as is and please see scans for condition and what is included.
