1927 TRADER HORN Book with Illustrations from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Production. The book is titled "TRADER HORN, Being the Life and Works of Alfred Aloysius Horn". Edited by Ethelreda Lewis with a foreword by the famous British author, John Galsworthy.The illustrations look like the movie was a Silent Movie. Aren"t they cool! The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap. It has a lovely cloth cover. The book measures about 8-1/8" by 5-1/2" with 302 pages. The book is in very good condition except for the big blob of dark on the back cover. Quoting from the book "The Ivory Coast in the Earlies". I take it the earlies means early in the 1900"s. There are several references to Cannibals!
