Antique 1898 large book, "Portraits and Principles of the World"s Great Men and Women with Practical Lessons on Successful Life by over Fifty Leading Thinkers".

"Designed and arranged by William C. King with Introduction by Rev. Charles H. Parkhurst. Over 500 photo-engraved portraits".

Published by King-Richardson Publishing Co., Springfield, Mass. The book has a lovely textured burgundy cloth cover and measures about 8-1/2" by 6-3/8" with 616 pages which includes an Index.

The book has a beautiful patterned inside front cover in pale green. The book is in good condition with wear and loss of the burgundy color, especially on the spine area. There is soiling to page ends and a few minor signs of wear to interior pages.
