Jiffy-Whip for Whipping Tops of Milk, Single Cream and Evaporated Milk.

The Sure, Easy Way to Make Whipped Cream

Before there was Cool-Whip, there was Jiffy-Whip. Here's what it says on the box.

Save money on whipped cream by using Jiffy-Whip. Absolutely tasteless -- will not affect the natural taste of the cream. Guaranteed free from harmful ingredients. Increases the body of thin cream and restores consistency of pasteurized cream and evaporated milk.

Jiffy-Whip Directions

Add one-half (1/2) teaspoon of Jiffy-Whip to each one-half (1/2) pint (or 1 cup) of thoroughly chilled cream. Best results obtained by whipping cream 1/2 minute before adding Jiffy-Whip. Whip until finished.


Fresh cream should be kept on ice at least 12 hours before whipping. Cream must be ice cold. Whipper should be cold. In warm weather, place utensil containing cream in chipped ice while whipping, for best results.

Powdered sugar, and any kind of flavoring (preferably vanilla) may be added if desired.

TO USE TOP MILK -- Carefully remove the top three ounces (scant 1/2 cup) from a quart bottle of milk with a small dipper (or spoon). DO NOT POUR OFF. Add one scant quarter (1/4) teaspoon of Jiffy-Whip and proceed as state above.

EVAPORATED MILK -- Always chill before whipping (follow same directions as for Top Milk above).


Jiffy-Whip, a pure food product, is a recent EZEWAY development. Whipping cream is expensive even when it is availably. You just add a few drops of Jiffy-Whip to ordinary cream (20% butter fat), the "tops" of milk, or evaporated milk and you can quickly whip up a delicious whipped cream.

There is still some of the product remaining in the bottle, but it has crystalized. The bottle is in excellent condition given its age, with both the front and back label firmly attached. The box is in good condition, although it is missing it's top and one of the side flaps. The price (11 cents) is written on the front.
